What Have I Learnt?
Here is what I have learnt from the process of creating the album:
If you are a creative, my advice is to surround yourself with other creatives, especially from different disciplines. Everything multiplies when you do this and the chances of success increase exponentially! As a musician, it’s been wonderful being surrounded by christian artists. Some of you I have collaborated with and some have become great friends. Many of you have encouraged me to keep going even when I felt like throwing in the towel – several times!
Indeed, much of the motivation behind the album has been to help other artists create and be inspired. In the midst of a very stressful year, I believe we need beauty not more ugliness. We all need an uplift and I believe this album goes some way to achieving this. In fact, I will be bold enough to say: I don’t believe you will hear anything quite like it anywhere!
