About Tania:
Tania Harris is an artist based in Fort Worth, Texas who is passionate about creating art that beautifies spaces, impacts lives, and brings peace to the hearts of those who view it. With a tagline of "Prophetic Art for Everyone," Tania's work is deeply spiritual and often carries a message of hope and inspiration.
Tania's painting style is intuitive and mostly abstract, but she is also skilled at representational art. She works with a range of mediums, including watercolour, acrylics, and oils, and loves to experiment with vibrant colours that evoke emotion.
In addition to creating commissioned pieces for clients, Tania loves to paint live during church services to the worship band. Her work has also been featured in galleries and exhibitions throughout the Fort Worth area.
As a mother of three children and wife to her husband John (and a cat!), Tania is also a musician, playing the trumpet and teaches Spanish. In her free time, she loves to cook, take walks, and dance.

The Featured Art Story : "Rejoice"
This piece was created during live worship at my church in Fort Worth, Texas. I painted it intuitively sensing which color to choose, moving with the ebb and flow of the music responding to the worship that surrounded me. I felt bold, confident and joy as I slapped the paint on the canvas not really aware of what was forming on the canvas, painting playfully, enjoying God's presence. It vibrates with lively color, textural thick marks imitating the music and emotion of the worship. I imagine God creating the world with a smile on his face declaring all that was made good as I look at this painting. I can even see ribs, parts of animals, shining stars and galaxies, with life teeming in water.

Prophetic Words
"He Sees YOU!"
This piece has many layers. At the first painting session during worship at my church, I felt God's burning love and a sense of upcoming revival. I used bright yellow, oranges and reds. The second session was partly at home and partly at another worship session at church. I painted ventricle-like chambers within the centre and realised that I was intuitively painting an actual heart that expresses God's immense passion for his people.
The next time I painted I had a sense of a darker cloud, expressed in the outer dark blue and purple that forms unintentionally, a heart shape. There are spots that pop with color and little caverns of brightness that speak of hope in the middle of pain and suffering we all experience living in this world. The third session I added the head of an eagle, the white cloud like areas around the dark edges and more color. Each time I add another layer of paint, more meaning and revelation is revealed. This painting now looks as if it is breathing, alive with purpose and depth.

"The Door of the Spirit"
This piece has also been done in layers. It started out during a worship session at my church. I painted an abstract with swirling colours of dark and light blue, purple and a bright yellow. I got a sense of God opening up intimacy with Him. The second time I painted was much later after the first session. I wait for God to tell me what to work on and when as He is the one using me to speak through my paintings. I got a prophetic picture for a friend I was praying for in the
Creatives Arise membership of three doors in the ocean. The door on the left and in the centre are darkened but have little scenes inside. The door on the right is highlighted, inviting and sweeps you in as it is the door God is inviting you into. This picture speaks of how much God wants to reveal to you his plan for your life. He wants you to seek but also find the door that aligns with your purpose, His best for you.
Sometimes the door is unexpected, scary, even small and unassuming. His plan, purpose and vision for you is so much better and greater than you can hope for or imagine.
