About Leslie:
I am a joyful, thriving artist living in New York just south of Albany our state capital. I work in chalk pastel on paper and oil on canvas.
I am an Illustration graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. I lived and worked there for seventeen years.
My career as an artist has taken many turns throughout my life, always changing. I began working first in editorial illustration then launched into textile design in home furnishings and ready to wear.
My niche was designing illustrative silk squares with many companies including Vera Wang at Ralph Lauren and Donna Karan for DKNY. Entered family, four children and career change.
I began teaching art for home school groups in NYC and later created a thriving art program at an elementary school as both Principal of School and program director.
Now, I am excited to Illustrate and paint what I see and experience in life and spirit.
You will find my work is diverse and reflects some of the beauty in creation...people, places, animals, and the Spirit of God intimately speaking to me in this beautiful journey, LIFE. I hope to reflect a bit of His Glory in my work.
It brings me great joy to hear His voice and paint these visions on canvas. I believe in painting I am fulfilling His Kingdom purpose for my life.

He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood. and His name is called The Word of God. And He has on His robe and His thigh a name written "King of kings and Lord of lords.".
