Piano Sonata No 6 in E Minor "Transcendence"

This piano sonata traces a journey from human striving, through the depths of memory and loss, toward a place of transcendence and light.

This sonata is not only a musical form, but a reflection on aspiration, suffering, and the possibility of transcendence.

1. To The Stars in E Minor

The opening movement, To the Stars, is driven by rhythm and momentum—music that reaches upward, restless and searching, as if striving beyond itself.

2. Do Zobaczenia in G Minor

At the heart of the sonata lies Do Zobaczenia (“Goodbye”), a movement in G minor written in memory of the victims of the Holocaust. The music is restrained and reflective, shaped by a sense of farewell—both sorrowful and dignified—holding the weight of memory without attempting to resolve it.

3. Ascension in C Major

The final movement, Ascent, moves into a new sound world. Influenced by the colours of French impressionism, it rises into C major—not as a traditional resolution, but as a sense of light, space, and release. The journey does not return home; instead, it lifts beyond.

1. Moonlight on the Water in E Flat Major

2. Grand March in Eb Flat Major

3. Coronation in C Minor

Piano Sonata No 2 in F Minor "Autumn"

1. At the End of the World in F Minor

This sonata begins with a sonata movement in F Minor.

This music was created just before the Covid outbreak and I believe was prophetic of what was coming and expresses a kind of feeling of uncertainty and dystopia.

However the movement is also hopeful and beautiful.

2. Adieu in C Major

A simple, expressive piano piece written in memory of my father.

Adieu is one of my most personal works and has connected with many people through its simplicity and emotion. It ends in A Major preparing us for the drama of the last movement in A Minor.

3. Le Debut in A Minor

Le Debut or the beginning is the last movement of my Autumn sonata and is very rhythmical and kind of represents the Autumn winds blowing away the old and preparing for the beginning of the new.

Piano Sonata No 1 in C Minor "Winter"

1. Winter - Andante Moderato in C Minor

This sonata movement in C Minor was the first Classical piece I ever wrote for Piano in 2017

2. Winter Dreams - Fantasy in A Minor

3. Artic Winds  - Moto Perpetuo in C Minor

Piano Sonata No 3 in F Minor "Spring"

1. Allegretto in F Minor

Revived is the first movement of my Piano Sonata in F Minor. The movement opens with ominous tolling low F’s in the piano — almost like distant bells — before building into dramatic energy and renewal.

This is music about awakening, ignition, and inner fire returning. 🎹 Piano Sonata in F Minor
I. Allegretto – “Revived” Composed and performed by Paul Noble.

2. Romance in Bb Minor - Andante Moderato

The second movement of my Piano Sonata in F Minor is a lyrical Romance in B♭ Minor.

After the drama of the first movement, this music offers warmth, tenderness, and stillness.

It begins with a sustained low B♭ — a grounding, peaceful foundation — over which a deeply romantic melody unfolds.

The movement has been described as something that would sit beautifully at a wedding — intimate, sincere, and heartfelt.

II. Romance – Andante Moderato

3. Gigue in A Minor

The final movement of my Piano Sonata in F Minor is a driving Gigue in A Minor.

Inspired by a Scottish 6/8 feel, the movement opens with octave quavers in both hands, propelling the music forward with energy and momentum.

A contrasting slow lyrical section offers breath and reflection, followed by a development featuring simple counterpoint in the style of Bach, before the opening theme returns and the sonata closes with a strong dominant–tonic cadence.

The sonata journeys from struggle, through love, to vitality.
